ClearSight says Analyzer lets network administrators view traffic via a graphical interface, easier to use than text logs. The application currently supports many common open and proprietary application-layer protocols.
The tool can reassemble and display discrete sessions such as emails, web pages or videoconferences, on demand or after the fact. It can also be used to receive alerts on problems and to drill down into network trouble spots faster, the firm said.
The product line includes ClearSight Analyzer, ClearSight Analyzer 10/100 FD (for Full Duplex), ClearSight Analyzer Gigabit and ClearSight Remote. Prices start at $7,999 and launch promotions are available.
