Glory be! Another of those contemptible class action law-suits has gone down: this time the victor is Philips Electronics NV a New York judge dismissed the securities class action complaints filed last June by shareholders in Philips after the company reported poor figures: the court dismissed the action after concluding that plaintiffs’ claims were unfounded, and the dismissal came without any payment by Philips to the plaintiffs or their counsel, the company said.
