Clarizen rolled out an enterprise-grade mobile platform and customization for its collaboration software.

The firm’s platform mirrors the funcationality of the desktop software and the web application gives the same user experience on the mobile.

The mobile platform connects mobile functionality – such as the camera and phone – with enterprise work collaboration, so team members can get their work done on the go.

For example, employees can start a project in the desktop app and complete it on an iPhone and vice versa, photograph receipts and submit expenses, and even call or text colleagues.

Configuration options include role-based set ups so companies can streamline work for groups of employees while tightly controlling access to sensitive information.

"Clarizen is committed to providing a seamless, intuitive user journey between the desktop app and mobile devices, and our reimagined mobile platform fulfills this ‘mobile and enterprise enablement’ vision," said Rachel Haim Hadas, Clarizen VP of product. "Connection and collaboration power the modern workplace, with employees in multiple locations working on multiple initiatives. Employees need anytime, anywhere access to relevant projects to connect, collaborate and get work done."

Since the mobile app experience is the same as the Clarizen web application – configured with the same layout, modules and forms – users can easily create new items, update data and collaborate using its discussion platform all on their mobile devices.

Like the Clarizen web application, the mobile platform supports organization-wide collaboration, among the workforce, management, external partners and customers.

The firm was recently named in Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA tech list.

Last week it opened a UK office in London’s West End and announced a world-wide recruitment drive.
