Apple Computer Co’s Claris Corp subsidiary, Santa Clara, California said its second-quarter turnover reached a record $64.4m, up from $40.1m last year: the growth was fueled by strong sales of Claris-brand software and significant turnover from Apple-brand software, which Claris began distributing and selling last October; the launches of new graphics products and continued growth of FileMaker Pro and ClarisWorks software in Japan also contributed to growth, Claris said.
