ClariFI, a provider of software and services for investment managers, has announced that the Barra Optimizer is now available as an optional component in the latest version of its ModelStation. MSCI Barra is a provider of investment decision support tools worldwide, including indices and portfolio risk and performance analytics.
ClariFI said that the new integrated offering combines the key strengths of the respective products, providing joint clients with access to MSCI Barra’s advanced optimization techniques and results, and ClariFI’s suite of investment management applications.
ClariFI also said that this approach eliminates the need to manually move data between the two products, and therefore gives portfolio managers flexibility to research, test, and implement new investment strategies.
