Citrix Systems Inc is continuing to fill in some of the gaps in Microsoft Corp’s NT Windows Terminal Server Edition for supporting thin clients, and yesterday announced Citrix Device Services, aimed at small businesses. Device Services adds support for local printers, COM ports and additional device types to Terminal Server 4.0. Fourteen OEMs, including Boundless Technologies Inc, IBM Corp, Neoware Systems Inc and Wyse Technology Inc, said they would include the new product in with their Citrix ICA-based product lines.
