Citizen Watch Co says that it will increase output of matrix printers from its UK plant in Scunthorpe to 30,000 a month in October from the present 24,000 to meet the increased demand it expects, with 50,000 a month the target. It had no comment on European Commission requests to raise local content above 40%.
