By CBR Staff Writer

The Citizen Manufacturing (UK) arm of Citizen Watch Co of Tokyo has begun work on construction of its UKP6m, 75,000 square foot printer plant in Scunthorpe: it hopes to move production from its temporary Scunthorpe base to the new plant early next year, and to reach the steady production target of 300,000 printers a month during 1989, by which time employment will hit 300.
