By CBR Staff Writer

Citizen Europe, established three years ago as a subsidiary of Citizen Watch Co to market printers in Europe, is forecasting sales of UKP52m for the year to March 1989 – up 100% from its 1987 figures; it expects printer ships for the current fiscal to top 315,000 and has recently diversified into floppy disk drives with converter kits, liquid crystal displays and monitors: the Uxbridge, Middlesex-based firm makes the printers and peripherals at its plant in Scunthorpe, South Humberside and exports them to 38 countries within Europe, Asia and the Middle East; ranked fourth in the printer market, it sees a move up to third place this year.
