The bank set up Citibank Online last year and is keen to encourage customers to do their banking using the internet platform. The kiosks are aimed at providing better customer service and promoting knowledge and use of technology, the bank said.
The bank has also made a deal with the Login Store Company to offer a co-branded credit card to consumers for the purchase of technological devices such as laptops and PDA’s at the bank. MP3 devices are also offered as part of the promotion when customers subscribe to the bank’s web page and when they open savings accounts.
