Cisco Systems Inc has won a multi-million dollar contract from the People’s Bank of China for a frame relay data network to link China’s major banks and financial institutions. The deal involves up to 200 switches which Cisco will source from its StrataCom Inc acquisition from 13 months ago (CI No 2,898).
