Cisco Systems Inc has chosen the French tools developer Ilog SA’s C++ object library Ilog Views as the common system for the graphical interfaces for its network management applications developed in its various divisions. Under the deal, Cisco can design and distribute an unlimited number of applications based on Ilog Views. Steve Bourne, director of network applications at Cisco, said that, with Ilog Views, We hope to reduce considerably the number of lines of code our developers have to write. The design of a convivial, homogenous user interface will contribute to offering our clients excellent quality technical services and support.
