CISCO OPENS R&D OFFICE IN ISRAEL

Cisco Systems Inc has decided to do some of its research and development in Israel and has opened an office in the Mediterranean coastal town of Netanya where it will initially develop high-end Gigabit switching and routing technology. It is the company’s second development center outside the US, the first being in India. It will start with 10 engineers in Israel and hopes to have 30 within a year.
