Cisco Systems Inc says it will use Sybase Inc’s SQL Anywhere tool as the exclusive database to power its network management applications on Unix and NT-based systems. It has also gone to Frontier Software Inc for its NetScout remote monitoring network management tool. Frontier is an existing Cisco partner.
