EPCglobal, a nonprofit RFID standards body, is building infrastructure that will connect manufacturers and logistic companies in the Pan Pearl River Delta region with retailers worldwide.
The EPC network is based on Cisco’s recently announced RFID Solution. Intel said it was working with Cisco to build silicon platforms to support the network.
