San Jose, California-based Cisco Systems Inc and Cylink Corp have announced a joint partnership to develop a family of local and wide area network security products. The two companies say they will integrate Cylink’s Enterprise Security Architecture into Cisco’s Internetwork Operating System. The first product to be launched by the partnership will be router-based packet encryption software, scheduled for delivery in mid-year. No prices yet.
