Cirrus Logic Inc also announced plans to invest about $2,000m over five years to enhance its manufacturing infrastructure. Its first step will be to expand further its MiCRUS joint manufacturing venture with IBM Corp, followed by a joint venture with AT&T Corp at the latter’s Orlando, Florida plant. It is also investing heavily at two of the leading Taiwanese chip foundries.
