Printed circuit board manufacturer Circaprint Holdings Plc says its good results (see page five) are due both to increased demand from major customers and to the benefits of last year’s rationalisation: the company has just opened a new PCB factory in Aylesford, which will allow it to compete in the fast turnaround and pre-production markets, while its Indian associate, Rodal Circaprint Electronics Ltd, staged the official opening of its Goan plant last week; group chairman Mr Stroud says despite overcapacity in the industry, there are signs of an improvement in the PCB market and, barring a downturn in the economy which affects the company’s major customers, he is looking forward to an encouraging year.
