Cincom Systems Inc has launched a new software suite and European sales division, both of which go under the moniker iC Solutions. The iC Solutions software suite is a modular system which is built around the iC Configurator – a data engine that holds sales information relating to both customers and products. This links to other enterprise systems via supporting enterprise integration architecture. The other modules available include opportunity management and remote user modules; as well as a an e-commerce developers kit. John Fallows, marketing manager, says that the system is based around eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and Microsoft Corp’s COM architecture. The software is available now, priced at between $2,000 and $2,500.
