Ciber Inc, the Englewood, Colorado-based systems integrator, has acquired Paragon Solutions Inc a privately-held provider of Oracle software implementation and IT consulting services, headquartered in Pittsburgh. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ciber will fold Paragon – which has annualized revenues of roughly $5m – into The Summit Group Inc, its existing value-added enterprise applications business. The company also hopes to use the acquisition to develop a closer relationship with Oracle. The acquisition will be accounted for as a purchase.
