Ciber Inc, the Englewood, Colorado-based consultant and systems integrator, has acquired privately-held Digital Software Corp, a provider of software engineering services. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Ciber says the purchase is designed to enhance its year-old federal systems business, with additional staff and a broader government contract client base. Aurora, Colorado-based DSC employs roughly 100 consultants and generates revenues of $8m a year.
