Chyron forms technology partnership with Asseto

Agreement to integrate Asseto web-based (SaaS) file conversion and distribution services with Chyron's Axis graphics web services

By CBR Staff Writer

Chyron, a provider of broadcast-quality graphics systems, has formed a technology partnership with Asseto as part of its Partner Program to provide targeted media creation system services and the hands-on experience for users.

Chyron said that its Partner Program is designed to leverage its systems services and web services model by seeking partnerships with organizations offering complementary products and areas of service.

Chyron and Asseto’s partnership agreement will integrate Asseto web-based (SaaS) file conversion and distribution services with Chyron’s Axis graphics web services. While each service can exist standalone, the partnership includes graphics creation, library and order management workflow tools with web-based file conversion.

Birger Hauge, CEO at Asseto, said: By integrating our conversion services with Chyron’s SaaS structure, we can provide our clients with tools and workflows that would otherwise be unattainable. This is a mutually beneficial partnership that brings additional value to our companies and, more importantly, to our clients.

As the pioneer of Graphics as a Service for all digital video media, Chyron continues to define and dominate the world of digital and broadcast graphics with Web, Mobile, HD, 3D, and newsroom integration services. The company has graphics offerings that include Online, Chyron’s AXIS Graphics online content creation software, HD/SD switchable on-air graphics systems, clip servers, graphics asset management and XMP integration services, WAPSTR mobile phone newsgathering application as well as digital signage.
