Guy Tarring, Marketing and HR Director, at Vistorm said, Rapid expansion created a need for new premises. In our business, matters of security are subject to continual review both on-line and off-line. In either case we have stringent requirements and wanted to start with the best.
CES were asked to design a security system tailored specifically to the needs of Vistorm’s purpose built offices, which boast an exercise suite and bistro amongst the facilities for 300 staff.
The security package comprises a surveillance system, the latest access control technology and SmartKey intruder alarms (obviating any need for PIN codes or keypads), which are enhanced with breakglass sensors designed to respond to the high-pitched sound of breaking glass. There is also 24-hour guarding by Chubb Security Personnel.
The CCTV colour system features high speed, fast response dome cameras which are capable of turning through 360 degrees for key positioning and can be programmed to film in pre-set directions at allotted times.
Controlled areas of access have been created within the building using the latest card reader technology built-in flush with the walls. As well as allowing or denying access to proximity card wearers, the system tracks and record movements through doors.
The entire system is monitored by on site Chubb security officers. They can control the angle of the cameras and have constant video pictures of the whole building inside and out. Where cameras are sited at external doors there is also two way audio contact allowing the guard to challenge visitors.
