CHS BUYS CONTROLLING STAKE IN HUNGARY’S KVENTA

Miami, Florida-based CHS Electronics Inc acquired a 51% stake Kventa Hungary KFT, a Budapest, Hungary, computer and peripherals distributor. CHS Electronics said the cost of the transaction will be determined primarily by the future performance of Kventa, which reported sales of about $19m in 1995.
