CHIPCOM HAS NEW ONDEMAND CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS

Chipcom Corp, IBM Corp’s hubs partner based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, has announced two new versions of its ONdemand Network Control System for the Microsoft Corp Windows environment. It will be available in a Portable – stand-alone and a Desktop version, bundled with Hewlett-Packard Co’s OpenView system, they are said to have all the functionality of the existing Unix-based versions. The products are scheduled to ship within the next 60 days. The Portable version will be priced at $1,000, and the Desktop version will cost $3,600, the company says.
