Seems SynOptics Communications Inc isn’t the only one to have developed technology to enable Fibre Distributed Data Interface traffic to run at 100Mbps over twisted pair cable (CI No 1,447): Chipcom Corp, Southborough, Massachusetts claims to have pulled just the same trick.
