Chipcom Corp of Southborough, Massachusetts and Unisys Corp have agreed to a deal under which Unisys will resell, install and support Chipcom’s intelligent switching hub products for use in enterprise-wide computer networks: Unisys Network Enable, the company’s network systems intergration unit, will market Chipcom’s ONline System Concentrator hub product line and related network management products, but provided no financial details; Unisys will provide a staff of over 200 network engineers to install and support the system, initially to be available only in the US.
