Southborough, Massachusetts-based Chipcom Corp has added an Establishment Controller to its ONline range. The ONline 3174 enables users to connect IBM 3270 terminals, printers and other devices directly to Chipcom’s six-slot or 17-slot ONline System Concentrators. The two-slot module will support 224 3270 devices in a single 17-slot ONline hub, or 64 devices in an ONline System Concentrator, says the company. The product will be available within 90 days, and be priced in the region of $14,940.
