On the heels of Unix System Laboratories Inc’s great China coup, the Santa Cruz Operation Inc has announced the availability of the first Chinese version of Santa Cruz Unix, in this case Unix V/386 3.2; the software was co-developed by Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz distributor Steptech IC Group and the government-backed Institute for Information ndustry in Taiwan; it will be marketed in Taiwan by Steptech and Santa Cruz’s other local distributor there, Stridemark.
