CHINA’S LEGEND USES AMD PROCESSOR IN NEW DESKTOPS

Advanced Micro Devices Inc has persuaded Legend Group Co, China’s largest domestic manufacturer of personal computers, to use its K5 iAPX-86-compatible processor to power its new Legend E-series desktop personal computers, which were introduced yesterday in Peking. The machines use 100MHz, 90MHz and 75MHz versions of the K5 processor.
