About 600 Chinese government officials will soon start receiving three-week intensive training courses from Australia on how to fight the millennium bug. Greenwich Mean Time Pty Ltd, the Australian subsidiary of the UK-based year 2000 software development company, has won a multi-million dollar contract to train officials to audit their PCs and desktop software for Year 2000 compliance.
