ChinaÆs Chinanet IP network is to be connected to the A-Bone, the Asian internet backbone owned and operated by Japanese telecom Asia Internet Holding Ltd, in a deal between AIH and China Telecom. ChinanetÆs estimated 2.1 million users will benefit from access to the nine other A-Bone-connected Asian nations, with a bandwidth of 2Mbs. The connection is expected to be completed next month.
