As China continues to emerge as an increasingly powerful economic force, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation has turned to the internet to boost exports. An English language web site has been launched, publicizing the wares of 8,000 Chinese products, reports the Nikkei Weekly. The Ministry hopes the site will generate more exports from China as well as speeding the growth of electronic commerce. The site can be found at www.madeinchina.com.cn/.
