Joseph Grant, chief financial officer at EDS Corp since December 1990, has announced his resignation, effective March 31. Grant says he’s been looking for a position with broader responsibilities, and figures now is the time to start another career. Grant presided over the company’s spin-out from 12-year parent General Motors and assembled the current financial team in place at EDS. The search for Grant’s successor has already begun. In October, the company reported net income of $230.2m on revenue of $3.73bn.
