CHEYENNE SOFTWARE ACQUIRES F A COMPONENTS AND FREEMAN-OWINGS

Cheyenne Software Inc, Roslyn, New York, has agreement to acquire two distributors of peripherals, F A Components Inc of New York and its Freeman-Owings Inc affiliate in Greenville, South Carolina: Cheyenne Software will pay 542,000 new shares for the companies, which had combined sales for the year to February 28 of about $49m; while Freeman-Owings was profitable during the period, the combined distribution companies had an operating loss; the two will be operated as a new Cheyenne subsidiary to be called F A Computer Technologies Inc.
