Cheyenne Software Inc, Roslyn Heights, New York says it will have to take a 15 cent to 20 cent hit this quarter to account for the acquisition of Intelligence Quotient International Ltd, British developer of open-file management and partial back-up technologies for NetWare and Windows NT, for an undisclosed number of shares. The majority shareholder in the firm was MTI Ventures, the high-technology venture capital fund.
