CHECKPOINT ENHANCES FIREWALL-1 FOR AUDIO, VIDEO APPLICATIONS

Israeli software developer CheckPoint Software Technologies Ltd, Jerusalem has announced enhancements to its FireWall-1 software. Version 2.1 now includes Internet and intranet support for Microsoft Corp Windows NT, management console support for Windows NT and Windows95, integrated support for FireWall-1 SecuRemote client encryption software on Windows95 laptops and desktops, and extended applications support for RealAudio, VDOLive, Internet Phone, and Oracle SQLNet. It’s out now and pricing for FireWall-1 is $5,000 for up to 50 users, $10,000 for up to 250, and $19,000 for FireWall-1 Enterprise which offers unlimited user support.
