The Redwood City, California-based vendor has moved beyond perimeter security over the last year or so, according to Niall Moynihan, its Northern European technical director.

We now have security offerings in the network, with the InterSpect IDS/IPS appliance, and on the desktop, with Zone Labs’ Integrity software, he said, and whereas until now you had to buy management consoles for them separately from our perimeter offerings, now all our products are managed from one.

Some significant incremental features have been added to the portfolio such as built-in support for dynamic routing, but the most significant addition is the ability to inspect the two VoIP protocols.

Our customers have been telling us that if they’re not already doing VoIP, they’re looking at it, so there was a need for is to be able to look at that traffic, said Moynihan.
