Deutsche Bundespost Telekom is to cut leasing rates for long-distance lines by up to 33%, and raise fees for short distance lines by an unspecified amount: the company said in a statement that it has also decided to set up a joint venture for its D1 cellular telephone network, though it gave no further details, while its joint venture with publisher Axel Springer Verlag AG, called VideoTel Infoservice GmbH, aimed at developing interactive computer networks, has now received formal board approval.
