The service, jointly designed by Channel 4 in partnership with tentendigital, was developed by BSkyB’s interactive department and integrates with BSkyB’s own Sky Active service.
Four Active is the first non-Sky channel to use elements of the Sky Active service.
Content available on Four Active includes interactive Celebrity Big Brother, voting options, and interactive games. Other services including chat are expected to follow shortly.
Channel 4 expects to launch a cable version of Four Active in the near future.
