The CGI unit provides core processing to 180 credit unions in the US as well as other services such as web hosting services. Last year the unit made sales of about $16m. Open Solutions will merge the unit, which will continue to operate from its Southfield, Michigan location, into its Open Solutions’ Core Systems Group.
The sale follows CGI’s divestment of Keyfacts Enterprises Canada to security and cash-processing company Garda World Security earlier this week.
