The governments hope the AMS Advantage suite will help them to manage real-time financial transactions and business intelligence by automating document workflow and decreasing paperwork.
Utah will upgrade its financial system with AMS Advantage version 3 in order to manage the state’s $8bn annual budget, while both San Bernardino County and the City of Austin are upgrading to AMS Advantage 3 (deploying AMS Advantage Financial, Procurement and Performance Budget and Financial and Procurement respectively).
We selected CGI-AMS and the Advantage solution for many reasons, said Kim Oliver, director of finance for the State of Utah. The solution is affordable, entirely Web-enabled, and easy to use and implement. The system and its transaction processes are familiar to us and our users. CGI-AMS is clearly taking AMS Advantage in a positive direction.
