CGI, a provider of information technology (IT) and business process services, has signed a five-year $28m contract with Dessau, to manage technological infrastructure, application support and development.

Under the terms of the contract, more than 50 IT professionals from Dessau will join CGI team in Montreal.

Marc Godin, senior vice-president and chief financial officer at Dessau, said: "Given our growth objectives, it’s important for us to have an IT partner of scale to support the execution of our plan. CGI’s approach convinced us of the relevance of managed services as a means to support our growth."
