Ceva will carry out the distribution of books to agents, and the management of the warehouse supply for Pearson Paravia Bruno Mondadori (PBM) Editori Publishing, which publishes books in English and Italian ranging from scholastic books to academic and professional books. Ceva will process more than 1,500 items for a total of 1.2 million pieces a year.
Pearson PBM is part of the Pearson Education Publishing Group, present in 40 countries with over 56,000 published titles.
Gioachino Figlia, director of the publishing division of Ceva Logistics Italia, said: The signing of this agreement represents yet another confirmation of the headway our company is making in the publishing sector. This is reinforced all the more by the trust placed in our company by such an important client.
News of the latest contract comes on the back of Ceva signing a five-year deal with publishing group Press-Di.
