Minneapolis-based Ceridian Corp – formerly Control Data Corp signed a letter of intent to buy Systems Tax Services Inc of Fountain Valley, California on undisclosed terms: Systems Tax Services is a provider of tax filing services that help companies pay federal, state and local taxes associated with their employee payrolls; it reported turnover of about $18m last year and employed 200 people.
