Ceragon’s FibeAir 1500P is being deployed with 400Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, upgradeable to 800Mbps, at 18GHz in a ring topology, as well as the FibeAir 4800 unlicensed solution at 4.5GHz in a spur configuration, providing private network backhaul for a closed circuit TV network to capture and transmit video to a central storage location.
The closed circuit TV network in our public housing projects is mission critical in that the cost of a failure or a security breach is high. We demanded a globally proven technology solution and ultimately selected Ceragon, noted Graeme Booth, senior project manager for The Department of Human Services.
Following recent deployments of municipal networks powered by Ceragon’s microwave wireless technology in the US, we are excited to see this trend expand to Australia, added Ira Palti, president and CEO of Ceragon.
