Version 6.1 of Century Software Inc’s Term communications software is now available in the UK from Hungerford, Berkshire-based Systems Marketing Ltd for Sun Microsystems Inc Sun-4 workstations running SunOS, for AIX on the PS/2 and under Apple Computer’s A/UX on the Macintosh. Term provides a range of communications functions on Unix, Xenix, MS-DOS, DEC VAX/VMS and Unisys BTOS and the new version includes WTerm/CRC a new sliding-frame file transfer protocol with CRC error checking. Prices begin at UKP215 for a single user MS-DOS copy, UKP415 for amulti-user 80286 box, UKP515 for multi-user 80386s.
