CENTURY RESEARCH CENTRE TO LAUNCH VERSION OF TEXAS INSTRUMENTS’PERSONAL CONSULTANT FOR NEC 9800 MICROS

Century Research Centre Ltd, the 18th largest software house in Japan, is to launch a version of Texas Instruments’ Personal Consultant for the NEC 9800 micros this month: it will be sold in two versions, PC-Easy at $1,060; and PC Plus at $640; Century Research is already selling the English-language version for both the NEC 9800 and the IBM 5550; it set up an Artificial Intelligence division a year ago, and also distributes the specialist Texas Instruments Explorer Lisp computer, and software from Intelligent Technology and Carnegie Group.
