CENTURY RESEARCH CENTRE DEVELOPS NEW EXPERT SYSTEM

The big Century Research Centre Corp software house has developed an expert system which incorporates the engineering and architectural rules for constructing the underground foundations of buildings: in Japan, foundations need to be durable enough to withstand water pressure and earth tremors or worse and the system has been built using the Texas Instruments Personal Consultant Plus shell, which has been adapted for the local market by Century and runs on the NEC PC 9800.
