CENTURY DATA SYSTEMS SEEKING TEMPORARY TENANT FOR VACANT MANUFACTURING SPACE IN SINGAPORE

By CBR Staff Writer

With its IBM contract good for only one year, it sounds as if Seagate should get together with Century Data Systems Inc, Anaheim, California: according to Computer Systems News, Century has 35,000 square feet of vacant manufacturing space in Singapore for which it is seeking a temporary tenant while its CAST Century Advanced Storage Technology design house gets up to speed on a new generation of drives – Century does not expect to be occupying the full space at the Singapore plant until the end of 1988, Tandon ain’t interested, but if Seagate’s IBM pact is for only a year, Century seems to have the ideal answer for the brief contract.
